Motley Woollens is a family-owned sock mill, manufacturing socks for the past 20 years. We specialize in high-end, natural fiber socks like Merino wool, alpaca, and mohair. We produce the Motley brand and custom socks for various labels and organizations. Each pair is designed and made from start to finish in Okotoks, Alberta.
We use Merino wool in our Motley socks for its moister-wicking, thermo-regulating, and odor-resistant properties- resulting in all-day comfort. We start with 100% merino wool yarn, then add stretch nylon and Spandex during the knitting process to enhance the durability. Each pair is performance fitted with graduated leg tension, arch support, and cushioned footbed. Many of our styles are also reinforced in key wear areas for long-lasting durability.
Motley Woollens sources our raw materials from Canadian spinning mills and uses wool that is RWS (Responsible Wool Standard) certified.
