Motley Woollens is a family-owned sock mill, manufacturing socks in Canada for the past 20 years. Based in Okotoks, Alberta, we specialize in making premium natural fibre socks using materials like Merino wool, alpaca, and mohair. Alongside our signature Motley brand, we proudly manufacture custom socks for various labels and organizations.

We use Merino wool in our Motley socks for its moisture-wicking, temperature-regulating, and odour-resistant properties—delivering unmatched all-day comfort. Starting with 100% Merino wool yarn, we incorporate stretch nylon and Spandex during the knitting process to enhance durability. Each pair is performance-fitted with graduated leg tension, arch support, a cushioned footbed, and reinforcement in key wear areas.

We are committed to sourcing raw materials from Canadian spinning mills and prioritize sustainability by using RWS (Responsible Wool Standard) certified wool.
