Mountaineer Boot Sock
For my purposes, the Motley Mountaineer Boot Sock is an excellent sock. It is available in a size which allows me to use it as an oversock, and in my experience of it during daily use in bush travel over hundreds of kilometres it is very durable. It is also perfectly comfortable.
